• the expression-of-interest form for the "Get Involved" program;

Editorial submission data, when members or collaborators send texts, articles or essays for editorial assessment (name, institutional affiliation, résumé/academic background, email);

Browsing data, collected automatically through cookies essential to the website's operation and non-essential cookies (such as those used by the embedded Google Maps), as detailed in Section 5.

We do not collect sensitive data (such as racial origin, religious beliefs or health data) through this website.

LAPDIH does not sell or trade personal data. Data may be shared, as necessary, with:

• Technology service providers that operate the website infrastructure and newsletter delivery (e.g. hosting, email and form providers), always under confidentiality obligations;
• LAPDIH's scientific and editorial body, for assessing candidate profiles for the "Get Involved" program and evaluating editorial submissions;
• Partner institutions, only when there is a legal basis and specific purpose (for example, institutional cooperation expressly communicated to the data subject);
• Public authorities, when required by law, court order or request from a competent authority.

Personal data is kept for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, observing applicable legal and regulatory deadlines (e.g. record retention under the Brazilian Internet Civil Framework). After that period, data is deleted or anonymized, except where legal grounds require its retention.

• withdrawal of consent, when this is the applicable legal basis (e.g. cancellation of newsletter subscription, available at any time via link in the email itself or by direct request).

LAPDIH adopts reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access and situations of destruction, loss, alteration, communication or improper disclosure. However, no system is entirely risk-free, and LAPDIH commits to notifying the data subject and the National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) in the event of a relevant security incident, as required by the LGPD.
