Commitment and Scholarly Production
LAPDIH organizes scholarly events dedicated to International Humanitarian Law and International Children's Rights, and also supports and promotes academic initiatives related to its research areas. Its members take part in congresses, conferences, seminars and other spaces of scholarly exchange, in Brazil and abroad.
The Laboratory's commitment to research is also reflected in its editorial output, with the annual publication of books dedicated to its research axes and a quarterly newsletter that brings together contributions from researchers and invited specialists, both national and international. Through these initiatives, LAPDIH seeks to promote the production and circulation of scientific knowledge, contributing to the promotion of International Humanitarian Law and International Children's Rights around the world.

To expand the reach of Brazilian research in International Law.
To build a reference space for research, debate and scholarly production, connecting researchers and institutions in Brazil and around the world.

Scientific rigor, independence and cooperation.
Academic ethics and integrity, plurality of perspectives, commitment to International Humanitarian Law and International Children's Rights, and the value of cooperation among researchers, institutions and different legal traditions.
